OBJECTIVE

We’ve got the cookin’ thing down to an Art…our next goal is to put the WORD in Word Choice Café.

We're bringing community in our Program by partnering with Chicago Police.

RESPONSE TO COVID-9

Urban Teen Magazine created an online Publication focusing on current topics and public interests.  Thirteen young journalist collaborated online to write and report issues that affect our communities, local and federal government, and the pandemic.  Click on the link below and get a copy of URBAN TEEN MAGAZINE SUMMER 2020

WHAT WE WANT TO ACCOMPLISH

Using food as a catalyst to bring people together, our Program will serve as a place to encourage community talks around the table.

Build relationships among urban young people, Chicago Policemen and their communities.

HOW WE SHALL ACCOMPLISH OUR GOAL

The goal is to

  • Address the needs of community through a series of dialogue that achieve positive outcomes

  • Improve interactions between police and teens

  • Stop gun violence in Chicago communities through positive activities
